National Sales Manager
Transitioning into the pumping world from his hands-on start in automotive electrical systems, Martin joined Truflo Pumps in 2016 as internal sales support. With his knack for connecting with people and love of a good chat he hit the road in a sales role just six weeks later. His enthusiasm about all things pumping and technical problem-solving led to him becoming National Sales Manager.
Martin thrives on solving complex problems, embracing new challenges, and working alongside an incredible team in an environment where his energy and expertise can make a real difference. His technical background gives him credibility with clients, while his conversational style builds lasting relationships.
Away from work, he’s all about family, fishing, cooking meat to perfection and cheering on the Melbourne Storm. Always on the go, Martin brings passion and a down-to-earth attitude to everything he does.

Paul Power
Business Development Manager - International
Paul Power began his career as a fitter machinist and has built over 35 years of expertise in dewatering systems. His extensive experience spans multiple companies and continents, where he has excelled as both a sales representative and pump systems adviser.
For the past seven years, Paul has been with Truflo Pumps as International Business Development Manager, specialising in open cut and underground mining operations. His deep technical knowledge, combined with his global perspective makes him invaluable in developing reliable pumping solutions for complex mining environments.
When he’s not designing pump systems or travelling for business, Paul maintains an impressively active lifestyle. He runs regularly, flies gliders, studies French, explores new destinations, and continues his education at university. His curiosity and drive for continuous learning reflect the same dedication he brings to every client relationship.

Phill Mitchell
Business Development Manager - South Queensland
Working in the mines as a diesel fitter, Phill Mitchell honed his skills specialising in pumps and ancillary equipment. When Truflo Pumps approached him to join the company, Phill was already impressed by their products, having worked on them firsthand in the field.
With years of hands-on experience in pump maintenance, repair, and technical support, Phill brings a practical, solutions-driven mindset to his role. Since joining Truflo Pumps, he’s focused on helping clients get the right product the first time, minimising downtime and ensuring every job runs as smoothly as possible.
Away from work, you’ll find Phill elbow-deep in classic car restoration or soaking up the sun with his family at the beach.
Whether it’s fine-tuning a machine or enjoying a sunny day with the family, Phill’s all about keeping things real, reliable, and rewarding.

John Rook
Business Development Manager - Corporate
With over four decades of experience in the industry, John Rook brings unparalleled expertise to the Truflo Pumps team. Beginning his career as a diesel fitter, John’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to establish his own successful manufacturing and repair business, specialising in generators and pumps.
It was during this time that he recognised the quality and reliability of Truflo Pumps, adding our pumps to his range of products. His confidence in our brand ultimately led to him selling his business to Truflo Pumps and joining our team as Qld Business Development Manager.
John’s practical knowledge of diesel and electric pumping systems and deep understanding of the mining sector make him an invaluable resource for our clients.
In his spare time, John enjoys sampling scotch and family time, especially with his 8 grand kids including a set of twins.

Hadley Allbut
Business Development Manager - NSW/NT/SA
Hadley joined Truflo Pumps as a fitter in 2020, quickly stepping up as Procurement Manager and then Production Manager. His rapid progression through different areas of the business reflects both his work ethic and natural ability to see the bigger picture. His diverse experience gives him a comprehensive understanding of how pumps work – from sourcing components to assembly, testing, and final delivery.
With his recent move into sales, he brings valuable hands-on insight and sharp problem solving skills to every customer interaction. His technical background means he speaks the language of both the workshop and the customer, making him particularly effective at finding the right solution for complex pumping challenges.
Outdoorsy, active, and recently married, Hadley’s always chasing the next adventure, whether it’s exploring the Australian bush or tackling challenging projects on the job. His enthusiasm is infectious, and his practical approach gets results.

Aaron Schot
Business Development Manager - North & Western Queensland
Email AaronAaron brings over 11 years of solid experience in dewatering, starting his career in project engineering where he designed dewatering systems for open cut and underground mines. He progressed through sales support and applications engineering before managing sales teams across Australia SE Asia regions.
His technical background as a mechanical engineer, combined with his commercial experience, makes him well-placed to support our clients across the mining sector and other industries requiring reliable dewatering systems.
When he’s not working, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, getting out on the golf course, and following football (soccer).
If you’re in North or Western Queensland and need to move water, Aaron will help you with the best solution – diesel or electric and in a configuration that makes pumping easy and efficient.

Chris Gee
Business Development Manager - Western Australia
Chris joined Truflo in 2016 as Western Australia Business Development Manager, bringing over 25 years of experience in the pump industry. His deep technical knowledge and market understanding have made him a trusted advisor to clients across Western Australia’s mining and industrial sectors. He specialises in building strong client relationships and driving growth through innovative solutions that meet their specific needs.
Chris is passionate about delivering exceptional value and staying ahead in the evolving dewatering industry, constantly exploring new technologies and approaches to better serve his clients.
Outside of work, Chris loves catching live music events, playing his guitars and staying fit and healthy. As a proud father of two young children, he cherishes family time and creating memories with them.
Whether he’s closing a deal, enjoying a concert, or playing with his kids, Chris is driven by connection, trust, and living life to the fullest.
Dane Platyes
Business Development Manager - WA
Originally from South Africa, where he worked as a ship’s Captain, Dane moved to Australia in 2015 to study Electrical Engineering. Upon graduating, he moved straight into the dewatering sector for open pit and underground operations.
With years of soft and hard rock experience, Dane is the go-to person when you have water management issues. “I love a challenge. Where others may feel it’s too hard, I see it as an opportunity to design a solution that helps keep operations running,” he says.
Dane provides his wealth of knowledge to mine sites from the Pilbara down to the Goldfields and everywhere in between.
If the name seems familiar, you may have seen Dane in an MMA cage. While those days are well behind him, he’s still involved in martial arts and coaching. He also loves dirt bikes, 4x4s and V8s, so you might hear him coming before you see him.
